After a lengthily
cooperate salon career followed by a few years
of working independently, owner/stylist - Jody
Lende established Accent on Appearances LLC in 2004. She & her team
continued serving a well-established & loyal
clientele in the salon’s original location for 5 & ½ years. Our new
location opened in December of 2009. While
larger, both in the number of styling stations & by square footage,
our new salon is still small enough to provide the same personal service
our clients have grown to expect with all the added benefits of a new
modern facility.
We are concerned about environmental issues and use and recommend environmentally friendly products. We offer several hair-coloring techniques that reduce or eliminate the amount of foil & other materials used, thus reducing the amount of trash we generate. We re-use, or recycle wherever we are able & believe in doing our part to protect the environment.
We employ only stylists who hold current WA State licenses & are in good standing with our state’s department of licensing & the WA State Board of Cosmetology. We comply with all state and local laws regarding sanitation and safety for the protection of our clients and ourselves.
Our stylists are skilled in the use of various haircutting tools and techniques, up to date with the latest fashion trends & are required to participate in continuing education regularly. In addition to great haircutting & styling our staff of highly trained, skilled professionals offer a wide range salon services including, hair coloring, permanent straightening, permanent waving, formal styling, eyebrow shaping & more.
